Hi, I'm Penny...
My camera has always been an extension of how I see the world — full of beauty in the everyday. Whether it's muddy boots in the woods, windblown hair, or a quiet hand-hold between a parent and child, I’m always looking for the real. The moments that aren’t posed or polished, but honest and full of life.
My Story
Storyteller, ex primary school teacher, publican and mum to two little legends (aka my wild, sunshine-wrapped hurricanes).
I’m the heart behind Little & Wild Photography, where I offer lifestyle and storytelling sessions that capture families just as they are—beautifully chaotic, deeply connected, and full of love.
It’s a true privilege to be invited into your life to document the moments that matter most. I know that takes trust, and I don’t take that lightly—thank you for believing I’m the one to do this for your family.
My goal? To photograph genuine emotion and connection, not staged smiles. You won’t hear me asking you to "say cheese" (shudders). Instead, I’ll prompt you to whisper something sweet, launch into a tickle war, or shout something completely ridiculous—whatever it takes to bring out those real, unfiltered moments.

About Me
I'm a Bedfordshire-based family photographer with a deep love for the outdoors — the beach is my ultimate happy place, closely followed by the woods, especially with my children in tow. With strong family ties to Norfolk you will often find us enjoying school holidays and the magic of the county.
Before photography, I was a primary school teacher, and I still hold a current DBS (this is renewed yearly and so is always in date), which comes in handy when working with little ones. I’m also a community volunteer and a proud (if slightly cringey!) PTA mum — connecting with people in the community is something I truly value. I reserve a number of photoshoots per year as donations to local charity events and raffles. Please do reach out to see if I can help to support your event/cause.
Creativity runs through everything I do. I sew in my spare time, quilting and making children’s clothes (once upon a time I had a handmade children's clothing business called Mama & Nugget), and I also run Little & Wild Wreaths, hosting luxury seasonal wreath-making workshops throughout the year. Christmas has always been pure magic for me.
I’ve always had a camera in my hand — long before I knew what I was doing with it — and capturing real, meaningful moments for families has grown into something I genuinely love. Light and the beauty it offers has forever been an obsession.
Other things about me? I love skiing (my husband proposed on a snowy mountain in Slovenia), I’m a rescue diver, I've lived in many different places including Norfolk, London (where I grew up), Birmingham (where I attended The University of Birmingham and also met my husband), the Catskills in New York and Dusseldorf in Germany. I adore autumn and everything Christmas, and our home is shared with two cats, a dog, and a very lively jumping spider.
